Why book first aid training with fluid?
First aid training is perhaps one of the most important skills you’ll ever learn – after all, it could help you save a loved-one’s life!
At Fluid Learning, we do first aid training differently. We offer comprehensive first aid education, CPR training and LV Panel Rescue courses, that not only prepare to respond to emergencies at work or home, but are nationally-recognised and workplace ready.
We offer public first aid training courses in North Lakes, Hamilton and Nathan, convenient locations for outer and inner suburbs of North Brisbane. We run regular public courses or we can come to you, for a private group course at a time that suits you. Our face to face classes are very relaxed, and we aim to provide very simple and easy to understand instructions – as we have found that this is the most effective way to ensure information is retained by students.
Our innovative online learning and enrolment process means you can learn and complete the theory assessment at your own pace, time and place. With the paperwork out of the way, our face-to-face sessions are shorter, fun, hands-on and more succinct than you’ve come to expect from first aid and CPR courses in the past.
With friendly, experienced trainers and the best local prices, there is no better place to gain these life-saving skills.
Whether you are looking to undertake a first aid training course in Caboolture, North Lakes, Redcliffe or at your workplace in Brisbane and surrounding areas, we’d invite you to learn the Fluid way and contact us today. Read More
Are you an aspiring paramedic? Perhaps you’re looking to become a nurse, but your resume is missing “something”? You’ve come to the right place – at Fluid First Aid we provide cheap first aid training that anyone can benefit from.
Over the years, many people who have undergone any type of training course have left with one thought in their mind: “That was boring…”. But we believe that it doesn’t have to be this way, and we go out of our way to make our courses more energetic without lessening the knowledge that participants gain.
Our First Aid Courses – What to Expect
Stress is the last thing that we want during a Fluid First Aid training course. Our trainers have years of experience and believe that a relaxed environment will make participants more confident in their training. From our courses, you can expect to:
- Watch educational videos that explain various techniques
- Learn how to calmly approach different situations
- Take part in practical activities such as practising CPR and defibrillation
- Learn about fractures and sprains
- Learn about controlling infections
- Be taught to deal with heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and fits
At the end of your training, your eligibility for a first aid certificate will be assessed on two things. This includes an online assessment and the practical assessment, where you must perform basic techniques such as CPR.
Why Fluid First Aid?
When doing a first aid and CPR training course, it doesn’t have to be a long and mind-numbing experience. The Fluid First Aid courses that we’ve assembled are quite the opposite.
Shorter Training Courses.
Part of our courses involves online learning which is beneficial for a number of reasons. First, you won’t have to spend as much time stuck in a room, and second, you’ll be able to take in everything that you learn at your own pace.
Like we said, one of our goals is to eliminate the boring environment associated with training courses. Our trainers are enthusiastic and passionate about first aid training, and they show this by organising more enjoyable activities.
Another problem with the stale and outdated first aid training courses is that people leave with a long list of questions. This is incredibly counterproductive, so we encourage participants to ask questions throughout the course.
After Your First Aid Training
After you’ve successfully completed your training and you’ve received your certificate, it might be worth checking out our kits and supplies. We have a partnership with First Aid Kits Australia and are happy that we can offer a range of first aid products:
- Personal first aid kits (for homes and cars)
- Fire safety equipment
- Workplace first aid kits (low risk to high risk)
Your training will be for nothing if you don’t have the right supplies handy. Even a basic home first aid kit can prove to be helpful when someone is hurt.

I completed my most recent First Aid course with Ben at Fluid Learning North Lakes. As a former vocational education teacher I found the online pre-course reading material informative and innovative and the study guides really helpful. Ben presented the course in a highly professional manner. He was easy to understand and entertaining and he made every effort to ensure that it was relevant for all attendees. The assessment was practical and was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this course. We at WET Swim School are certainly delighted that Fluid Learning is located so close to our business.
